Everything regarding the burning bush scene felt more powerful, emotional.Brian Stokes Mitchell as Jethro's singing voice, for Through Heaven's eyes, was absolutely fantastic.I do think that Prince of Egypt has its moments that put it really close to Ten Commandments: EDIT addition: The script and writing, of course, are just incredible overall.I like the film's use of characters other than Pharaoh and Moses a lot more.No one will ever be a better representation of Moses on-screen than Charlton Heston. They really drew from many sources (many of which I studied) and turned it into a very coherent film.

The Sunset Limited was a film that I remember drawing issue with some theological points whole watching, but didn't let that deter me from enjoying an engaging film. Moses and the Ten Commandments (TV Series) is a TV Series directed by Alexandre Avancini, Daniel Ghivelder. I don't recall anything standing out in Silence as seeming to have little theological backing, but I also thought it was more of an exploration of the people involved rather than and film to promote theological debate. So there is no baseline for what is and it correct according to Christianity (and to clarify I don't personally subscribe to what the Pope says as that baseline).
Of course this issue isn't limited to Christianity, and part of the problem (in my eyes) is there are a lot of people who choose to ignore theology they don't like because it inconveniences their lives. I would mostly agree, but I think one issue is that non-Christian films tend to be all over the place with what Christianity actually says.
